Khoury College of Computer Sciences is a vibrant hub of diversity. However, the perception persists that Computer Science is male-dominated and rigidly academic. We needed to show that it’s far more exciting than you might imagine, uniting a diverse community with varied backgrounds, passions, and aspirations.
Navigate with ease: Access the information you need instantly
The Khoury College website serves five key user groups: Prospective Students, Prospective Faculty, Current Students & Faculty, Institutions/Partners, and Alumni Donors.
To address the diverse needs of these audiences, we conducted collaborative content audits with stakeholders to prioritize and streamline the site's information. This effort led to a revamped navigation structure, enabling quicker access to relevant pages for each group.
We also implemented a hover state feature on the desktop site, which attracts the majority of traffic, providing users with a content summary for each page upon interaction, thereby enhancing user engagement and navigation clarity.
Templatize pages for scaleability
We've developed flexible, scalable page structures using a modular approach. This empowers our client to customize and mix styles, crafting pages tailored to their content while maintaining consistent site design.

Khoury College has seen substantial progress over the past few years:
43% increase in first-year student enrollment of women
50% increase in first-year student enrollment of groups underrepresented in tech
