The mission: The platforms require a major implementation to support new product launches. From the educational page and shop to the step-by-step activation process, all content has to be seamlessly integrated into the existing ecosystem while aligning with both the app and site structures.
The challenge: The design needed to follow the latest design system while still fitting in with older pages that hadn’t been updated. At the same time, UX patterns had to work with the existing code.
The result: This execution has driven over 10,000 activations within a year (Oct 2023 - Oct 2024)
Marketing banners were developed for high-traffic pages to raise awareness of the new service. A dedicated Smartwatch page was created to offer detailed information on features and product offerings, enabling users to make fully informed decisions. Additionally, it guides users seamlessly between the Shop and Bring Your Device flows.
A comprehensive shopping experience was designed and implemented within the MyVerizon App, making it easier for users to browse, select, and purchase products. This improved user engagement and simplified the buying process with a smooth, user-friendly interface.
An end-to-end Smartwatch activation experience was designed, featuring iOS native functionality, 'Bring Your Own Device' options, and integrated shopping to guide users through easy-to-follow flows.
However, there was a need to shift perceptions about Computer Sciences. It's far more exciting than you might imagine!
